Sometimes things get damaged in transit, but it doesn't mean they can't still be put to good use.
 
All these tins have one or two slight blemishes on the exterior of the box e.g. a small dent or two on the lid, or light scratch. The issues are visual only and do not affect the functionality of the tin - it opens smoothly and closes securely. 
 
We work hard to ensure we create as little waste as possible, so rather than 'disposing' of these we've decided to offer them to you instead with a £2 discount.

Each tin contains two wax 'Fish Sticks'; each one weighs approx 10g.
 
Thread wax can help:
Lubricate thread/yarn to help prevent knots and tangles.
Allow thread/yarn to glide through fabrics more easily and prevent thread from shedding.
Straighten kinks in rescued or vintage thread/yarn.
Combine individual strands/plies together to create thicker yarn/thread
Be used to lubricate zips too!
 
To use simply run the thread or yarn between your thumb and the wax, and with your other hand pull on the thread/yarn allowing it to glide along the beeswax. 
 
Due to the nature of pure beeswax, it may become very hard if it is too cold. Before use warm the wax a little by placing the fish stick in the palm of your hand or in a sunny window for just a few minutes to slightly raise the temperature and make it more pliable.
