The 'Blueberry Pie' (#263) colorway from our merino blend darning yarn range includes a mix of blue shades with the occassional streak of raspberry and rust/tan.
 
A medium- weight 4ply yarn which can split down to two strands for mending fine knitwear, or  doubled up if you require a slightly thicker yarn.
 
This luxury yarn is spun and dyed in Italy - it's actually leftover surplus yarn from the textile production process and without being rescued it's likely it would end being wasted and sent to landfill.
 
75 % merino wool and 25% nylon - it has a similar fibre composition to a classic darning wool or mending yarn, which are often a mix of wool and polyester/nylon. The addition of nylon creates a yarn that's a little more hard-wearing than a pure wool yarn, making it ideal for repairing socks, cuffs and armpit areas that take more wear and tear.
 
Each card contains approximately 10 m (33 ft) of yarn.
 
The spacing between each colour change/repeat is inconsistent and varies between 2cm and 20cm (approx).
